It is a compact marine package that combines the principal cooling and air-moving components in one local unit. A seawater circuit, electrical supply, ducting and condensate drainage still need to be coordinated.
A split arrangement may help where the conditioned space has limited room, where compressor location matters or where routing allows the indoor and outdoor sections to be separated.
A multi-split arrangement can serve two or more indoor units when the zone loads, pipe routing, controls and total system duty are compatible.
